Today has been an emotional and moody day. I knew the singer of Beach House in uni and she had this great punk band called the Daggerhearts then. I still have a lot of those songs and they sound completely different from Beach House, which is a slower, ethereal and great band in its own right. I liked some songs off of their first two records, but I think they’ve really hit their stride with their new record Teen Dream. Check out a live version of “Lover of Mine.”
